Bradwell
Bradwell is a charming rural area situated just outside of South Yorkshire and Sheffield, in fact it is a part of the Derbyshire Peak District but it maintains excellent transport links with the surrounding cities, towns and villages. Bradwell maintains an excellent reputation as something of a commuter settlement with many people opting to live in the beautiful countryside scenery and enjoy the benefits of a village community whilst commuting into places like Derby and Sheffield each day for work. Bradwell features a real sense of history, remains have been found that date back to Roman times and many historians believe that the area has been settled for many centuries prior to this.
As you might expect from our description Bradwell is home to a wide variety of friendly pubs, bed and breakfast establishments, ice-cream shops, tea rooms and everything else you may expect to find in a charming rural village. Farming is a source of income for the local economy with a number of farms surrounding the Bradwell area, and there are also a number of tourist attractions such as Bagshaw Cavern and Hazelbadge Hall.
There is nothing quite as relaxing as coming home from a hard day at work in the city and retiring to your comfortable abode in Bradwell, and because of this house prices have remained largely unaffected by the 2009/2010 recession and have held their value well. Bradwell houses also fetch premium prices thanks to their charming rural feel. During the summer months the area is busy with the tourist trade with many people visiting each year from up and down the United Kingdom to enjoy the setting and peaceful way of life for a day or two. Although the rental and letting market in Bradwell is not very large houses will fetch higher prices than in surrounding areas.
